I was cruising off I-75, heading out to hit the hiking trails just north of Lake City (if you know the area, you know Falling Creek Falls and the river trails are right down the road). I was ready for a day in the woods, but it was hot, and I needed a cold beer.
So, I pulled into Weggie’s Saloon.

It’s the kind of place you stop at on your way to nowhere—authentic, local, and redneck. I walked in wearing my signature “Sweet Zionist Princess” tee and hiking jeans, just looking for a refreshment. But everyone was so friendly, so I stayed for a few beers.
Then, when Toby Keith’s “Red Solo Cup” started playing, it was time for a muscle control take over. I’m a 4’11” short stack girl, so no one expected what happened next.
I stepped out into the parking lot and let my pecs do the dancing.
